Full Job Title: Temporary Trusted Assessor/Admin x2 – Occupational Therapy

To undertake assessments, care planning, identification of resources and services delivery and reviews in order to assist in maintaining the independence of clients.
To assess individual’s needs, complete appropriate assessment forms and computerised records and other associated administrative tasks. Initiating request to Adult and Community Services or Health staff for a further specialist assessment as necessary.

- Qualifications:
- Good general education including high level of literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
- NVQ Level 3 or a willingness and ability to obtain the qualification.
- Ability to complete person centred and proportionate OTA assessments
- Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience of working within a social care setting where you are/were working with people with a disabilities
- Good understanding of community care activity in relation to statutory, voluntary or private social care sector.
- Significant experience and/or level 3 trusted assessor training in assessing for and prescribing minor adaptations and equipment. For the right candidate we would consider training to trusted assessor level 4 to enable you to carry out some major adaptations.
- Knowledge of medical conditions and the likely impact on the individual, carer and family
- Awareness of the causes and effects of common disabling medical conditions.
- ICT Skills: IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
