Temporary Support Admin Officer x2

To support the Access and Disclosure Officers by providing administrative support to services in meeting their responsibilities under the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004
Key Responsibilities:
- To support the Access and Disclosure Officers in the development and effective management of related FOI/EIR processes and procedures and in the provision of service delivery that meets statutory timescales in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
- To use the log FOI/EIR requests to co-ordinate appropriate responses and obtain sign off from service managers.
- To receive copies of responses to FOI/EIR requests, review quality of responses.
- To advise and assist managers and directorates on achieving complaints to statutory FOI timescales.
- To support the Access and Disclosure Team by ensuring that intranet and other guidance materials are up to date and circulated as needed to directorate managers.
- General administration duties including electronic and manual filing, photocopying; setting up and refining systems as appropriate to support the Access and Disclosure Service, and publication of the FOI/EIR complaints statistics
- To cover for the Administrator (Access & Disclosure) and Paralegal (Access & Disclosure) when required
