Full Job Title: Temporary PA/Admin Support Manager – Housing

To provide an efficient, high quality and proactive support service to the Executive Director and the Housing and Social Investment DMT/Directorate in their leadership roles (DMT and Reports).

To lead the Executive support function, providing complete personal, administrative and secretarial services to members of the Senior Leadership Team, Assistant Directors and Heads of Service

To take ownership over the process and procedures of executive support, including development of administrative, data collection and associated management information systems.

Provide a supporting role on projects and initiatives across the Directorate.

Key tasks include diary management, purchasing, project support / delivery and minuting meetings.

 

Specific Role Requirements” – to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

  1. Qualifications: A levels or higher
  2. Experience:
    1. Previous experience as an Executive Support Assistant/PA preferably at senior level.
    2. Experience in a social housing environment is preferable but not essential.
    3. Previous experience in a line management capacity.
    4. Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information.
  3. Skills & Abilities:
    1. Comfortable working autonomously and across multiple tasks and reporting into different project working teams and staff members
    2. Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
    3. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to operate with diplomacy, tact and empathy.
    4. Keen attention to detail.
    5. Comfortable when working to tight deadlines, and able to turn work around within a short time span where demands are liable to change at short notice.
    6. Clear communication skills.
    7. Capable managing a diverse workload with multiple concurrent tasks.
    8. Able to engage with internal and external
  4. ICT Skills: Strong IT skills and proficiency across MS suite.
