Temporary Learner Experience Officer

Your job will be administrative in nature, requiring you to answer emails and phone calls as well as meet our learners in person when covering the reception area
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a learner focussed, first point of contact for site users, including learners, and staff, teaching and non-teaching. Provide excellent customer service to all learners by owning the learner experience through to resolution by providing resources, information and advice and enrolling learners on to courses.
- Facilitate learning by ensuring learning rooms are set up accordingly for all events and have the right pre-booked resources and ICT equipment to support learning.
- Provide operational support at Wensum Lodge including, data management, ordering resources and ensuring the safety and security of the site with awareness of health and safety policies.
- You may be asked to assist with providing cost effective accommodation solutions for Adult Learning by liaising with internal and external accommodation providers, ensuring accommodation is fit for purpose and continually risk assessed for fire, first aid and evacuation.
- To help source new and alternative venues to support reducing costs of venue budget spending to Adult Learning and support the hiring of Wensum lodge facilities to external providers. Ensuring risk assessments and fire risk assessments are carried out for all new venues.
- Support the management, maintenance, and allocation of ICT and associated equipment. Ensure ICT updates are performed regularly to our county wide ICT equipment, and a log maintained. Act as first point of contact for any ICT requests to help solve and issues that may occur.
- Support health and safety audits including regular fire alarm checks, security alarm checks and legionella testing.
- Help maintain the site to a high standard including monitoring the condition of rooms and equipment, spot cleaning, reporting any maintenance issues, and general site tidiness.
- Any other duties appropriate to a D grade.
