This role is for a leading London Police organisation, candidates with current CTC/SC clearances will go through their vetting processes, currently this is taking up to 6 months. If you are already in a contract that potentially is not ending for a few months and this role is of interest, do let us know, we would be happy to discuss further.
To provide administrative support across the HR team and their different areas of business during a demanding time, with strong focus on recruitment activity. The post holder will assist with internal and National recruitment activities including liaising with campaign managers and candidates and administering appropriate correspondence.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage with internal and external partners, agencies/forces nationwide.
- Organise interviews including preparations of recruitment papers.
- Respond to ad hoc requests and enquiries from units both internal and external for information and advice relating to secondment/attachment arrangements.
- Facilitate vetting requirements.
- Carry out routine administrative procedures and monitor progress of standard processes, providing reminders/prompts.
- Process routine paperwork and correspondence, ensuring records are kept up-to-date and accurate.
- Report and collate data to monthly meetings.
- Organise and plan meetings for management team/
- Answer telephones and taking messages as appropriate.
- Receive and direct visitors to the department and liaise reception staff.
- Prepare monthly management information.
- Create IT accounts for new starters.

- Ability to compose and produce standard letters and reports.

- Good proven communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent computer skills, including use of Windows based software, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as proven research skills using police databases.
