Temporary Executive Support Officer – Admin & Clerical

The post-holder will provide high level business support to Corporate contracts, working within the Strategic Contracts Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders
  • Present important information
  • Develop processes/ reporting structures
  • Answer manager/officer questions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Complete tasks on time and in a quality manner without much oversight to tight deadlines
  • Respond in a timely manner to emails, calls, address in-person requests and handle team and project requests

Experience & Knowledge / Technical skills:

  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience providing PA/EA support, in a busy and demanding environment preferably in the public sector.
  • Experience of multi-tasking, managing priorities and working under pressure to tight deadlines.


Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to complete administrative tasks in a quality and time-efficient manner
  • Ability to communicate processes and information to others, respond clearly to questions and requests
  • Good customer service skills which include active listening, setting expectations and communication with stakeholders
  • Ability to gather, organise, interpret and analyse information from a wide range of sources to support informed decision making.
  • Inbox management and prioritising responses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information accurately, clearly and concisely to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to work under own initiative as well as working with and supporting others.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft office- Word, Excel, Oulook
