Temporary Events Project Officer

To be a project leader or project team member in a variety of projects which are aimed at the delivery of high profile public-facing events in the area
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues to help to develop the Council’s programme of events across the borough of Kettering.
- Seek local business support and sponsorship for events where appropriate.
- To act as a resource for, and work in partnership with, other Council services in the delivery of events and project as and when requested to do so by a member of the Council’s management team.
- To ensure that events are delivered to within tight timescales and within budget.
- Support the delivery of corporate projects as requested to do so by the head of corporate and cultural services.
- To provide information to the media / press on the events when required.
- To be responsible for the developing effective mechanisms to ensure young people are consulted on the Council’s policies and strategies9170

- Working knowledge of the Licensing Act 2003 and preferably a Personal Licence Holder
- Experience of managing events across multiple locations
