Temporary Digital & Data Administrator – Human Resources

To carry out a range of administrative duties for the Team with limited supervision, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems.

Qualifications:
- Demonstrate up to date CPD including reading, research and training along with a commitment to personal and professional development.
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Experience of People Information Management Systems experience of working in a large and complex shared services environment.
- Demonstrate post qualifying experience of working within a Human Resources/OD and/or Payroll environment.
- Experience of working on processes and systems leading to an improvement in service delivery and staff performance.
- Knowledge of People Information Management Systems or similar HR/Payroll systems.
- Experience of working on projects.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to understand, interpret and apply appropriate legislation.
- High level of problem solving and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify and manage workloads and meet stringent deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities
- High level of customer service skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and in particular the ability to express ideas and views effectively at all levels.
- Political sensitivity and awareness of local government issues.
- ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
