Full Job Title: Temporary CSA/Admin – Call Centre
Reference no: Cornwall 5211621
To represent the Council by providing the first point of contact with customers, providing advice and applying sound judgement in assessing their needs across all service areas and resolving their query directly or referring them where a detailed consultation is required.
- Telephone answering and direction of calls to other departments
- Making calls to clients and booking jobs
- Placing orders/jobs on the inhouse system
- Answering basic queries
All training will be given.

- Qualifications:
- GCSE Level English and Mathematics (at Grade C or above) or equivalent
- Working towards (or willing to) NVQ 3 Customer Care and ECDL qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience of working within a team providing an excellent standard of customer service in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
- Experienced in dealing with and defusing conflict
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- ICT Skills: Operator in Windows based technology e.g. Web & telephone
