Full Job Title: Temporary Commissionaire & Security Officer
Reference no: Derbyshire 5209014
NB this posts works on a shift system of 4 days (06:00 -18:00), 4 days off and then 4 nights (18:00 -06:00) on a rota basis, this will include some weekends and bank holidays. You will be working as part of a team of commissionaires duties include, site security, CCTV monitoring, porterage duties, setting up for meetings, compliance checks.
- Maintaining a clear knowledge and understanding of, and being able to undertake evacuation procedures for the buildings when required.
- Monitoring and operate any C.C.T.V. cameras and equipment, and undertake periodic patrols to check and ensure that rooms and buildings are secure, both within, and outside normal office hours, using radio communications as necessary and analysing logs/documentation as directed.
- Ensuring all areas are secure at all times as appropriate.
- Being responsible for calling the Emergency Services and ensuring the safe evacuation of the building when the Emergency Planning Unit is not in attendance.
- Answering “out of hours” telephone calls. Where necessary respond to the call by giving advice or passing on information and or contact telephone numbers to members of the public or emergency services.
