Training Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative and financial support to deliver an effective and efficient Training, Learning and Development function. To also provide administrative support to Sub / Task Groups, including the organisation of meetings, the production and circulation of minutes and preparation of papers   

Key Responsibilities: 


  • Implement and ensure the maintenance of administrative systems to co-ordinate the CHSCP training programme.  
  • To work in conjunction with the CHSCP on the development and writing of the yearly CHSCP training strategy, programme and annual report.  
  • Take responsibility for arranging CHSCP training courses by way of organising trainers, venues, refreshments, equipment and other requirements necessary for successful training.  
  • To be responsible for initiating, developing, maintaining and regularly updating systems both manual and IT to support and enhance the work of the division.  
  • To be responsible for ensuring that the training budget is spent effectively and efficiently, either through the core programme or commissioned independent training service. To be responsible for identifying any areas of concern recommending and initiating appropriate courses of action.  
  • Ensure that accurate financial records are maintained and to take responsibility for ensuring that all invoices are paid within timescales and be able to provide an up to date record of current expenditure. To identify any areas of concern, initiating the appropriate remedial action as and when applicable.  
  • Take responsibility for compiling and disseminating statistical records of relevant training activity and attendance.  
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the smooth and effective running of individual training events by ensuring registration of attendees, that all equipment and refreshment are provided and that delegates complete the relevant evaluation form. An ability to be flexible with working hours  
  • To liaise with the relevant trainer to confirm what is required to be included in the course training pack to then take responsibility for ensuring these packs are produced and available for each delegate. 
  • To ensure that the training programme is widely distributed to all agencies via email, web and other media

  • Experience of working in an administration role in a complex and large organisation 
  • Experience in successfully managing a variety of projects simultaneously and achieving targets 
  • Demonstrable experience of administering a training programme (in person and / or online) 
  • Excellent minute taking skills 
  • An ability to be able to plan, prioritise and organise own work in line with CHSCP training objectives
