Temporary Business Support Officer / Admin – Home Response Team, Adult Social Care

Office based
To provide administrative support to the monitoring and alarm specialist teams. To carry out a range of duties with limited supervision, which may involve written, telephone or face to face contact with the public or internal colleagues and the application of organisational procedures and systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the production of financial reports/budget monitors utilising SAP.
- Assist with the production of the monthly payroll variation returns.
- Administer staffing records, including flexi-time, and preparation of rotas.
- Set up and maintain information systems and records to support business functions, maintaining strict confidentiality on any personal data.
- Research, collate and produce accurate and timely management information to produce regular performance monitoring information as required.
- Ensure the accuracy of computerised records against expenditure and liaise with other teams where amendments are required.
- Deal with all correspondence by distributing incoming mail.
- Maintain and monitor Adult Social Care referrals.
- Order maintain and monitor supplies of equipment and stationery for the business unit and the services it provides.
- Deal with enquiries from internal and external clients including on financial and administrative matters and providing a high level of customer care.
- Attend meetings when required for the purposes of minute taking and undertaking any follow-up administrative actions arising from those meetings.
- Maintain the client records, including regular reconciliations, scheduling the diary for officers and book client appointments
- Provide administrative support to any specialist team within the division as required.

- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Strong IT skills in spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
