The role is hybrid working, with ideally at least two days in the office

An Administrator is needed to provide administrative support to the housing team by delivering an efficient and courteous customer service to both internal and external customers.

The post-holder will also be expected to ensure that the Housing service performs against agreed targets and is positively promoted throughout our operating areas. 

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting Housing Solutions Officers with managing caseloads.
  • Contacting applicants, arranging appointments, arranging submission of paperwork.
  • Liaising with staff, residents, and external agencies on behalf of the Housing Solutions Team.
  • Data input.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of all clerical and administrative support systems and processes.
  • Use of office IT systems and applications effectively to manage files/documents and maintenance of appropriate records in line with data protection and confidentiality principles.
  • Performing any other ad hoc duties relevant to the role that may arise such as managing general secretarial services, photocopying, scanning, note taking, answering, and screening inbound emails and phone calls, etc.
