Full Job Title: Temporary Accounts Receivable Admin Assistant- Community Care

To support with the recovery of debt within the Community care charging team and recovery of accumulated funds awarded to customers in receipt of care. The role will require experience of debt recovery and income maximisation.
- Maintain and update computer and manual records and systems in line with policy, procedures, instructions and standards.
- Personally deal with internal and external customer enquiries and correspondence regarding Sundry Debts, ensuring that a consistently high quality of service is delivered.
- Carry out duties associated with the enforcement of sundry debts and in the absence of the Finance Officer(s) undertake duties to ensure continuation of action.

- Minimum of 12 months recent finance administration experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
- Experience of administrative work in a customer service environment
- Experience in dealing with customers via telephone, written/electronic correspondence and face to face
- Experience in monitoring and updating computer-based software applications
- ICT Skills: Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite)
