JOB INFO:
A Senior Safety Assessment Specialist is needed on a contract basis.
You will be working as part of a team on updating safety case documents and progressing change control documents through the the governance routes for a High Hazard facility.
Tasking will be under the direction of the safety case manager.
You should have previous experience of Safety Cases.
Existing security clearance is not a prerequisite but will always help
Who you are:
- Experience working in high hazard industries, with safety cases
- Experience preparing and uplifting safety cases
- Experience of Change control and Assessment on security
- LOD (Lines of Defence) methodology.
Other skills/experience:
- Degree – science related degree e.g. science/physics/Chemical Engineering
- Previous experience within a highly controlled environment/nuclear industry - desirable
- Possibly from explosives background
- Experience working on classified items
