Role: Senior Buyer
Contract Length: anticipated 12 months

Hours: 37 per week TBC
Pay Rate: £23.39 per hour PAYE
Our client is looking to hire a Senior Buyer for approximately 12 months.
To support and contribute to the successful delivery of the scope, schedule and cost against the work scope of Business Services portfolio by the ensuring the optimum provision of fit for purpose goods and services from the Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will manage 17 contracts from low to high complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the existing Commercial landscape
- Implement key strategic initiatives with effective market engagement to build better professional buying and relationship management behaviours
- Design, shape and agree innovative commercial strategies
- Identification of savings and opportunity realisation
- Execute sourcing exercises aligned to category strategies within defined timescales and to agreed quality standards
- Ensure compliant commercial practice, process efficiency and robust controls and assurance mechanisms across the full commercial lifecycle
