Minute taking skills and experience are essential for this role

A PT Business Officer is required to undertake general administrative and finance tasks and to provide support around training across the service as well as other tasks assigned by the Senior Business Officer. This post is predominantly to support one home, Haviland Way, in Cambridge, however the successful candidate may be asked to travel to other homes to provide support and attend meetings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls.
  • Purchasing of items and financial support such as credit card coding, petty cash reconciliation and spend logging and tracking.
  • Provide support to the Registered Manager and Senior Business Officer to analyse the budget position.
  • Time sheet processing.
  • Minute taking at meetings as required.
  • Provide support around training across the service as well as other tasks assigned by the Senior Business Officer.
  • This post is predominantly to support one home, Haviland Way, in Cambridge, however the jobholder may be asked to travel to other homes to provide support and attend meetings.
