Hybrid working - you can work where is best for you but will need to be willing and able to travel across operating areas as required. Have hubs and workspaces in Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset & London
You’ll be responsible for the entire project lifecycle from specification writing through to completion for our neighbourhood enhancement portfolio; you’ll lead on procurement activity, manage resources, manage budget and spend for your projects and ensure all works are within scope ensuring compliance with policy & procedure throughout
Key Responsibilities:
- Specification writing and procurement lead for all projects and programmes in scope
- Project management of internal and external resources, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensuring Section 20 process are followed were relevant
- Financial reporting and budget management for all projects and programmes in scope
- Managing Contractor andor Consultants delivering projects ranging from £50k to £2m value
- Contractor performance reviews and management, ensuring adherence to core material ranges and service standards
- Technical surveying and advice for all projects and programmes in scope
- Constructions Design and Management - Client Function, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation

Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in building or construction related discipline and membership of the RICS, CIOB or BEng, or equivalent
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of property legislation, including Building Regulations, Planning Approval and the Party Wall etc. Act matters and processes
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of financial and contractual considerations
- A thorough understanding of current Health and Safety with reference to the building and construction sector including requirements of CDM
Experience:
- Experience of managing budgets in excess of £1m
- Experience of leasehold matters including Section 20 procedures
- Experience of engaging Consultants, including setting out terms and conditions
- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing building projects from inception to completion
Skills & Abilities:
- Management skills / training accreditation including project management techniques
- The ability to provide oral and written reports, and detailed specifications, schedules of work and tender documents
