    36 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

What's involved with this role:

To deal with a range of planning applications, managing a mixed caseload comprising householder and other applications and some strategic applications.

To organise work-loads and meet all timescales and project milestones

To keep up to date on current legislation and professional practice in the field of work.

  2. Your recent UK working experience going back at least 5 years, or full employment history if you have been working for fewer years than this.
  3. Your availability to work either immediately, or at short notice.
  4. Qualifications:
    1. Degree in Town Planning or equivalent
    2. At least Licentiate membership of RTPI and working towards full membership
  5. Minimum of 12 months recent planning experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
  6. A strong track record of delivery in a busy planning department with a commitment to partnership working to ensure positive outcomes
  7. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
