City: WEMBLEY, LONDON   

To review, to handle a specific project, to seek access injunctions for circa 500 properties to carry out electrical safety inspections. Housing Legal Assistant to draft LBAs, liaise with tenants, housing officers and Managers and Wates and the disrepair team regarding access, drafting witness statements and proceedings for access injunctions for electrical safety inspections representing the council at these hearings in the County Court

Other “Essential Requirements” – Please check to ensure that your CV addresses the following items:

  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
  • Experience of drafting LBAs.
  • Experience of drafting witness statements and proceedings for access injunctions for electrical safety inspections desirable.
  • Experience of representing at hearings in the County Court.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with tenants, housing officers and Managers regarding access.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
