Full Job Title: Interim Project/Implementation Officer – ICT/Housing
Reference no: Slough RQ643216
Working as a member of the project team specifically created to design and implement the new Northgate Housing Management System.
Working with the project team, to drive and support the design, configuration and implementation of the new Northgate Housing Management System.
Working with the project team and service staff and managers, to drive and support the design, testing and training phases of the new system implementation.
Specifics include:
- To play a key role in the replacement of the Council’s Housing Management System (Capita to Northgate).
- To provide support to the project team, and staff in the implementation of the new Housing Management system.
- To work with the Project Manager and Project Team to provide project work stream management services.
- To work with the Project Manager, Project Team, and staff on solution design for the new system.
- To work with the Project Manager, Project Team and staff on business process reviews and process mapping to support the migration to new Housing Management System.
- To work with the Project Manager, Project Team and staff on data validation and cleansing tasks and data testing to support the migration to new Housing Management System.
- To work with the Project Manager, Project Team and staff on the development and delivery of training programmes to Housing staff.
To work with the Project Manager, Project Team and staff to provide support to testing processes. Develop testing plans with staff. Undertake testing.

- Qualifications:
- Degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent in a related and relevant area.
- Project Management Qualification or Membership of an appropriate professional body.
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Specific to this role:
- Excellent Housing knowledge.
- Excellent Northgate System Knowledge essential.
- Ability initially to act as a ‘Super User’ resource to Housing Teams as they learn the system post go-live.
- Ability to undertake training and support for users in how to use the system.
- Experience:
- Housing Experience in a similar environment
- Project experience in a similar environment.
- Experience in a training or training support role - desirable
- Experience in processes and procedures work.
- Experience of interrogating data, and updating and inputting data.
- Experience of working effectively with managers, professional staff and external agencies.
- Knowledge:
- Excellent and broad knowledge of Housing Service Provision in a similar environment
- Knowledge of Housing Management Systems.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of GDPR, and general data management protocols
- ICT Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Outlook) and their uses within a similar environment
