Full Job Title: Interim Occupational Therapist x3 – Adult Social Care

The Occupational Therapist within the Social Care Occupational Therapy Service will have responsibility for the assessment of people with a disability and provide the appropriate recommendations in order to assist in the Department’s statutory obligations under current legislation.
This may include advice, provision of equipment, adaptations to the home and/or referral to other agencies. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the management of a caseload.

- Relevant OT Degree or Dip COT
- You will have relevant experience of working in similar service areas.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, processes and procedures.
- If relevant: you will have a proven ability to supervise and allocate work to others, monitoring their performance and taking corrective action.
- You will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and engage successfully with colleagues and service users.
- You will have financial experience or training to carry out associated financial tasks.
- You will have a good level of general IT skills and the ability to use, or be trained in the use of, appropriate specialist in-house software packages.
