Housing Office will ensure that a high-quality service is delivered to the customer in accordance with the Directorate’s Housing service plans and Housing Plus initiatives. Their main responsibility will be undertaking the tenancy and Leasehold Management function.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
  2. Experience of working in front-line housing management.
  3. Thorough understanding of tenancy and leasehold management.
  4. Knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance.
  5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Able to deal with the public exercising tact and discretion.
  7. Able to work on own initiative and as a member of a team.
  8. Able to identify basic repairs and remedies.
  9. Able to visit residents in their own homes and attend site meetings.
  10. Able to attend evening meetings when required.
  11. Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
