To provide an effective and efficient high standard of administrative, practical and financial support to the managers and teams in Children’s Social Care & Youth Justice Division.
Child and Team Support Worker posts are transferrable across the Division. The range and balance of duties and responsibilities set out below may differ to reflect the specific needs of a particular service or team
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up Finance Service packages
- Dealing with payment queries- Internal and external departments
- Dealing with under and Overpayments
- Running the payment cycles

Qualifications:
- Educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in relevant discipline
Experience:
- Experience of project work
- Experience of performing a wide range of administrative tasks and follow written policies and procedures
- Experience of prioritising tasks for self and team organising a team’s routine
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills – written and personal
- Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
- Advanced ICT skills and effective use of specialist ICT packages
- Accurate keyboard skills and attention to details to enable data quality
