Temporary Finance Project Module Lead

Mainly homeworking, equipment will be provided. Occasional need to attend offices in Coalville for face to face end user training or can work from the offices if prefer
Work within a project team tasked with delivery of the replacement IT system for the Finance team
Key responsibilities:
- Act as Module Lead for the implementation of designated modules of the finance system, taking responsibility for the business decisions
- Work closely, as business lead, with the Project Manager, supplier, consultants and NWLDC IT lead to determine the configuration of the system for designated modules
- Own the specified modules, with the practical support of the project manager
- Carry out testing throughout the project, assisting with documenting test scripts
- Sign-off of key project documents relating to specific modules assigned
- Take responsibility, on the part of the business, for the specific module through the go-live process
- Work with the project team to specify training requirements and develop the training plan
- Escalate any issues that arise through the project manager
- Participate in project team meetings
- Input to the post implementation review

- Advanced MS Office skills (or equivalent)
- Able to quickly build rapport and maintain effective relationships
