SC Vetting 

This role is for a leading London Police organisation, candidates with current CTC/SC clearances will go through their vetting processes, currently this is taking up to 6 months.  If you are already in a contract that potentially is not ending for a few months and this role is of interest, do let us know, we would be happy to discuss further. 

NB: Police Vacancy - only for candidates with a minimum of 3 years continuous UK address history. 

The role holder will provide valuable to support to the HR Team, ensuring that workforce information is being fully utilised to extract key data that will drive HR business. The Data & Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Deputy Head of Strategic HR, undertaking ad hoc data and reporting requests 

Key responsibilities: 

 

  • To support the workforce analytical function in providing analysis that assesses how effectively the workforce is expected to develop against its agreed targets. 
  • To use analytical findings to identify trends, forecast future implications and highlight areas that are likely to cause an issue in relation to our workforce ambitions. 
  • Use IT packages, particularly Excel, to analyse performance information and produce reports. 
  • Be able to interpret a wide range of information and create meaningful reports to aid senior decision making within the CT network. 
  • To support the design and implementation of data collection and collation strategies to obtain data/information from multiple and disparate groups. 
  • Ensuring that products and documentation within the team’s remit comply with policies and any legal obligations such as FOIA and the Data Protection Act. 
  • Managing own workload and escalating requests within the team when appropriate

  • Experience of research, information analysis, and/or business performance in a large organisation or complex environment 
  • Proven and well-evidenced, relevant experience in an analytical environment 
  • Computer literacy (Excel to a high level, PowerPoint, Word) and presentational skills 
  • An ability to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge, skills and competencies gained through extensive and high-level experience in complex environments 
  • An effective influencing style through clear written reports and spoken presentations
