Full Job Title: Temporary Data Analyst – ICT/Housing Solutions

Job Reference: Southwark 5219353

Pay Rate: £18.03 per hour PAYE

Undertake projects commissioned by the Unit to ensure the H-CLIC government data reporting is submitted to high standards by analysing complex data sets and taking responsibility from independent resolutions within strict deadlines.

To develop, collate, monitor, analyse, communicate and publish data-based reports.

ensuring accurate and quality data is provided to both internal and external stakeholders.

To challenge the Unit’s performance information or processes to ensure high quality data and continuous improvement in service provision.

To lead on driving quality throughout the department by undertaking gap analysis and developing robust quality management systems, achieving best value through cost analysis and predictive modelling.


Specific Role Requirements” – to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

  1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation
  2. Knowledge & Experience:
    1. Awareness of the role of service development, data quality and performance management
    2. Experience of disseminating information and giving advice
    3. Producing high quality work despite pressurised deadlines
    4. Developing and managing quality assurance and audit processes
    5. Experience of corporate working, team working and joint working with internal and external stakeholders
    6. Producing high quality work for recurring tasks
    7. Analysing or reporting on data, such as performance or the outcomes of a project
  3. Specific Skills required for this Role:
    1. Excellent IT skills to produce, collate and disseminate detailed technical information in a format easily understood by service users and staff
    2. Ability to use computer systems including word processing, spreadsheets and databases for correspondence and reports
    3. Ability to gather, analyse and interpret complex information and exercise judgement to make recommendations for improvement
    4. Able to work on own initiative and be self-motivated and organised, demonstrating passion, drive, flexibility and commitment
    5. Ability to challenge performance in a positive way retaining the confidence and respect of a variety of stakeholders
    6. Can do attitude and demonstrable ownership and responsibility
    7. Ability to gain, and retain, the confidence and respect of staff, service users and other contacts
