Role: Correspondence Drafter / Administrator

Contract Length: anticipated 6 months (with possible extension), for the right candidate

Location: Central London

Pay rate: Up to £20.40 per HOUR pay range subject to IR35 status

 

Our client is looking to hire a Correspondence Drafter / Administrator.

As the Correspondence Drafter / Administrator  you will provide administrative support to senior leaders and draft responses to queries from the public, senior leaders and key stakeholders. Previous Minute taking experience is required for this role.

As the Correspondence Drafter / Administrator  you will have at least five years’ experience working in a similar role and able to demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills both verbally and in writing, with the ability to proactively manage and prioritise work to produce high quality and timely drafts.

We are looking for a Correspondence Drafter / Administrator with broad experience in working with senior Leadership team, maybe previously working as an Executive Assistant.

As the Correspondence Drafter / Administrator  you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Drafting responses to queries from the public, senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Working with Private Offices to ensure that drafts take account of preferences
  • Liaising with policy teams to obtain the latest information in order to respond to customer enquiries
  • Drafting replies to Questions for Senior Leaders
  • Diary and inbox management for senior staff
  • Providing administrative support to a busy private office
  • Completing work to a high standard and within strict deadlines.
  • Minuting meetings as required

 

As the Correspondence Drafter / Administrator you will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skillset:

  • Demonstrable Minute Taking skills - desirable
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills both verbally and in writing
  • Be willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Proactively manage and prioritise work to produce high quality and timely drafts
  • Build relationships across a range of stakeholders including policy experts, Private Offices and external agencies
  • Draw key information from a range of sources
  • Review own work and strive to improve on the service being provided to the Department and  customers
  • Work as part of a team
  • Be flexible and adaptable in supporting others across the unit
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment and initiative.

 

 

Contract Length: anticipated 6 months (with possible extension), for the right candidate

INSIDE IR35: Up to £20.40 per HOUR pay range subject to IR35 status
