Pay Rate: Up to £595 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

Location: Hybrid with London as base office, Westminster/ Clive house 2 days per week minimum which is not negotiable, Monday to Thursdays are potential Office days, Fridays are always WFH.

Contract Length: Anticipated 8 months

Existing security clearance is not a prerequisite but will always help.

JOB INFO:

A Contract Manager/Procurement Manager is needed on  contract basis for approximately 8 months.

What you’ll do:

  • Leading the procurement of goods and services for the organisation, delivering value for money, are compliant with procurement law, and demonstrate best commercial and procurement practice.
  • Influencing business strategy for best commercial results.
  • Manage risk and provide good stakeholder management.
  • Provide contract management services when required.
  • Encourage innovation in plans and maintain a robust performance management regime

 

Who you are:

  • In- depth Contract Management knowledge that has delivered outstanding value for money and strong Commercial outcomes
  • The ability to demonstrate the implementation of the latest Procurement Management methodology and a clear demonstration of staying abreast of latest Procurement market trends
  • Proven experience in influencing Senior Internal and External stakeholders
  • Evidence of the ability to identify process improvements and successfully manage changes that deliver great Commercial outcomes
  • Strong leadership capability, being able to illustrate how to successfully lead a team or manage a project.
  • Delivering complex commercial solutions in a contract management setting
  • Operating in a project or programme environment
  • Proactive management of risk and issues
  • Experience of working with multi-disciplinary project teams and subject matter experts to develop requirements and contract documents with the ability to critique contractual documentation
  • Working knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements (e.g. EU, Government Accounting and commercial best practice)
  • Experience of working independently as part of a decentralised commercial procurement team, influencing, working with and managing external stakeholders and internal customers.
