What's involved with this role:

Interim Communication & Engagement Specialist - Transformational Change

Job Ref: GLA 0006 74EA / 1

Pay Rate: £29.45 per hour PAYE (plus 38 days paid holiday)

Hybrid role: 2 days per week in the office (to be flexible between 2 locations)

A Communication & Engagement Specialist with transformational change communication experience is required. The post holder will implement complex organisational change communications and engagement campaigns.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Lead and co-ordinate engagement across a range of different stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date stakeholder engagement plan, ensuring all stakeholder engagements are managed effectively.
  • Provide advice and prepare and present reports, briefs and recommendations.
  • Develop a strategic communication and engagement strategy following staff consultation.
  • Prepare engagement materials, including email communications, briefing packs, presentations, articles, FAQs, etc.

  • Ability to implement complex organisational change communications and engagement campaigns.
  • Experience of leading coordinated engagement across a range of different stakeholders.
  • Experience with developing strategic communication and engagement strategy within staff consultation.
  • Ability to develop required engagement materials, including email communications, briefing packs, presentations, articles, FAQs, etc.
  • Understanding of the political sensitivities with experience within public sector or civil service.
