Office based role
An Administrator is required to work as part of a busy office assisting the Business Manager in ensuring the SEND Assessment Service fulfils its statutory duties both effectively and efficiently. This will include providing advice regarding the EHC Needs Assessment process and the Annual Review process to the users of the SEND Assessment Service, working effectively with team members to help support and improve the work of the team and planning, organising and developing your work to meet specified requirements and deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare clearly defined documents/presentations. Obtain standard data and information in order to create documents or answer straightforward queries.
- Production of straightforward automated or routine reports to support basic information procedures.
- Provide advice regarding the EHC Needs Assessment process and the Annual Review process to the users of the SEND Assessment Service.
- Make routine arrangements and bookings according to clearly defined instructions.
- Receiving visitors and providing/requesting basic information in a courteous and correct manner to promote a positive image of the Council.
- Photocopying and reproduction of documents. Maintenance of notice boards.
- Handling and logging incoming correspondence.
- Data input and receiving and responding to everyday enquiries from/to customers, escalating requests outside one’s knowledge base to the appropriate person/area.
- Answer telephones in a courteous way, taking messages as required.
