The Team requires an experienced administrator to carry out a range of duties including working with data and producing reports and insight for the Business Manager using Google sheets/Excel. To process information/documentation requests and assist in raising purchase orders and maintaining records as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Produce reports in Google Sheets for the Business Manager.
  • Data check, interrogate and input/update into spreadsheets.
  • Data update from spreadsheet information into bespoke software.
  • Processing information/documentation requests.
  • Dealing with visitors and organising meetings, rooms, refreshments etc.
  • Waste collection round checking, progress of rounds, reporting to management team where issues identified.
  • Reallocation of work between waste collection rounds.
  • Operation of weighbridge for incoming and outgoing waste for export, inputting of tickets, photographs, weighbridge ticket update.
  • Stationery ordering.
  • Work with the Business Manager to utilise data to make business decisions (support and training provided).
  • Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensure that all work completed is accurately charged in accordance with customer contracts.
  • Assist in raising purchase orders and maintaining records as required.
  • Support the Business Manager in production and review of key performance reports.
  • Assist credit control with outstanding debts by way of query resolution.
  • Understand the daily driver debrief process and deal with any issues raised maintaining records of actions in
  • Undertake any other such duties as may reasonably be required within the Service Centre.
  • Undertake any training and development as required.
  • Support the Administration Coordinator in ad hoc projects.

  • Previous exposure in the creation of reports/analytics would be advantageous.
  • Numerate and PC literate with good telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in high pressure environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset – experience of using Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and face a challenge.
  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite). Ability to produce reports in Google Sheets.
