Pay Rate: Up to £750 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

Location: Manchester with travel to other hubs when needed (based at the office 1-2 per week)

The successful candidate will lead the project exiting of current organisational presence from international offices.

The post-holder will deliver closure of services of contracts with people, technology and locations across 300 different placements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To undertake the early review of the incumbent contract provisions alongside the emerging bidder solutions indicates our exit provisions may not be robust enough to ensure an optimum exit from the old to the new contracts.
  • Working with the business to understand the emerging specific exit requirements on the current programme
  • Review incumbent contracts to see if the emerging requirements are sufficiently covered in the incumbent arrangements
  • If they are not sufficiently covered develop an exit contract with the incumbents
  • Once successful bidders identified for the review the exit provisions from above and build commercial arrangements
  • To ensure robust commercial arrangements to support the exit of the incumbent contracts  when the contract is awarded in April 23
  • Procurement Expertise - Significant procurement and commercial experience in a complex and policy-led environment, across the end to end lifecycle;
  • Manages Complexity: Experience of managing large contracts with complex commercial structures to ensure value for money is achieved.
  • Demonstrating strategic thinking, flexibility, risk management and resilience.
  • Decisive – Evidence of the successful design and delivery of holistic end-to-end strategic category plans and commercial strategies;
  • Builds Relationships: Experience of building and influencing strong, productive relationships at all levels and with a variety of stakeholders with different backgrounds, perspectives and drivers, in a highly complex, fast-moving, commercially focused environment.
  • Commercial Focus: Experience of delivering a high-quality commercial service across the full commercial lifecycle including knowledge and understanding
    of commercial policies, their practical application and the ability to implement the latest commercial methodologies

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in senior commercial role
  • Public sector experience
  • Experience delivering exit and innovating contracts, end-to-end process (not general contract management)
  • Ideally experience working exiting international contracts, multi-country large exists
  • Security Clearance: existing CTC clearance
