Pay Rate: Up to £450 per day pay range subject to IR35 status
Flexible working. Must be able to spend 2 days a week in the office in Corsham (or 2 days a fortnight if location is a greater distance).

Key Accountabilities:
- To work directly with team projects and a variety of the organisation and Industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the organisation to deliver technical release readiness risk assessments.
- The primary responsibility will be to confirm that specific implementation of any team ICT, either new or legacy, has been fulfilled in accordance with JSP 604 and that they take account of national and departmental regulations
- Engage with projects from the beginning.
- Advise what they will need to do, to meet all standards
- Know and advise where to find them.
- Engage with the rule owners (SMEs)
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrable awareness of Programme / Project Management techniques.
- Relevant experience in an appropriate technical sphere, ideally in Communications or Information Systems.
- A resilient individual who takes ownership of their work to deliver the expected risk assessments. (Resilient, Responsible)
- Organised and disciplined to ensure timely delivery of assurance cases, but able to adapt plans to meet the business priorities and problems encountered. (Organiser, Adaptable, Problem Solver, Disciplined)
- Strong analytical skills based around a desire to understand the detail and anticipate any issues with customers solutions. (Analytical, Precise, Preventer)
Desirable Requirements:
- Awareness of Risk Management practices and processes.
- APMP
- HNC / HND / Honours Degree in a Science / Technology / Engineering subject or equivalent experience
- Understand the Business, Understand the Information / Data and Understand the Technology to deliver the required business outcomes aligned to the Defence Enterprise expectations.
- IT experience preferably with background knowledge of IT systems within Government Departments
- Able to get to grips with technical aspect – does not need to be expert.
- Experience application host environments
- Migration apps into new environments.
- Possible backgrounds:
- Previously worked in a tech role in PM environment
- Some architectural experience
- Security assurance consultant
- Service management role
- Cloud hosting is desirable
- Broad range for background.
