Pay Rate: Up to £400 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

This role is currently remote working.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing contracts
  • Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships by serving as a single point of contract for contractual matters
  • Managing record keeping for all contracted – related correspondence and documentation
  • Providing both internal and external contract-related issue resolution
  • Monitoring and completing contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
  • Communicating contract -related information to all stakeholders
  • Identifying and following through of contract management improvements , achieving value for money, efficiency and effectiveness

 

Key Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding of Public procurement policy
  • Professional services procurement experience
  • Experience of running procurement from end to end
  • Previous experience working within a central government ministry - desirable
  • Experience of managing portfolios
  • Experience of supporting ad-hoc requests
  • Previous experience of managing stakeholders and challenging where appropriate
  • Relevant senior management and job-related experience at an appropriate level
  • MCIPS or equivalent, (if no MCIPS qualifications or equivalent is held, must be willing to attain)
  • Resilience and a self-starter
  • Abe to work at pace with changing priorities
  • Ability to follow strict processes
