Role: Clinical Engineering Equipment Support / Admin Officer
Contract Length: Anticipated 6 months

Our client is looking to hire a Clinical Engineering Equipment Support Officer for approximately 6 months.
You will provide high-quality administrative service for the Clinical Engineering department and the wider directorate, to include using computerised information systems, portable data terminals, word-processing, developing/maintaining filing systems, and processing of medical device, whilst continuing to develop and maintain good working relationships by being flexible, adaptable, polite, positive and empathetic, communicating effectively and informatively.
You will have the ability to work autonomously in additional to receiving directions from the Line Manager when required.
Key Experience required:
- To have full responsibility in ordering and purchasing of stock and consumables as well as ensuring that adequate levels of supplies are maintained and distributed accordingly.
- To perform stock control of both medical devices and consumables.
- Carry out basic commissioning, decommissioning and perform basic inspection /repairs of Medical Devices.
- To be responsible for ensuring new/replacement vehicles are fully kitted ready or operational use
- The post holder will assist in the operation of electronic systems appropriately in relation to medical device records and consumables and to ensure that computerised records for the medical devices are maintained and updated.
- Previous experience within the NHS is desirable
