Role: HR Caseworker/ Administrator
Contract Length: anticipated 6 months
Location: Induction onsite (London) - 4 days (Mon to Thurs inclusive), after that will be in office as required, 3-4 days per month, based on performance.
Our client is looking to hire a HR Caseworker/Administrator.
As the HR Caseworker you will have previous experience working in a similar role, with experience of analysing information from multiple sources, with a good attention to detail.
As the HR Caseworker, you will engage with stakeholders to ensure robust employment checks have been carried out and ensure that electronic records are promptly/accurately updated to reflect case progress/outcomes.
We are looking for an HR Caseworker/Administrator with broad experience in HR Administration and a background of dealing with sensitive/personal information and the ability to respond to queries internally/externally from applicants and supporting a shared mailbox.
As the HR Caseworker you will have the following responsibilities:
- Making decisions in accordance with relevant policy. Where appropriate, seeking guidance from colleagues, SMEs and tech specialists.
- Analysing evidence provided, requesting further information from DBS where necessary.
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure robust employment checks have been carried out.
- Ensuring electronic records are promptly/accurately updated to reflect case progress/outcomes.
- Dealing with sensitive/personal info in accordance with DPA
- Responding to queries internally/externally and from applicants.
- Supporting shared mailbox.
- Promptly escalating issues to Team Leads as appropriate.
- Managing/assessing cases in alignment with policy, operating procedures and guidance.
- Notifying applicants by email of their application, once decision is made.
- Responding promptly to urgent tasks/requests for Information.
- Stakeholder management
- Working to ID if translation/interpretation is required to aid applicant. Working with translators
- Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure objectives are delivered
- Processing cases of interest
- Adhering to/ensuring others are complying with governance/data protection protocols
- Completing all mandatory training
As the HR Caseworker you will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skillset:
- Able to analyse information from multiple sources, with keen eye for attention to detail
- Able to deliver at pace and meet daily targets for cases
- Good understanding of English, especially written.
- Able to use Office 365 (Word, PP, excel etc.)
Security Clearance: SC highly desirable; candidates with active SC clearance will be fast-tracked.
