Our client is within central government and they are looking to hire a Civil Project Engineer.
A Civil Project Engineer is required to join a well established Team of highly skilled professionals, with the responsibility of delivering Projects to manage Site Assets to include buildings, equipment. Roadways etc. You will bring your knowledge and experience to the team as they progress on a decommissioning journey.
As the Civil Project Engineer you will have at least five years’ experience working in a similar role and experience of managing aging infrastructure and civil assets.
We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer with an HNC, Civil Engineering Degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level5/6 and good understanding of relevant national engineering standards
As the Civil Project Engineer you will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project.
- Develop concept design and fit for purpose engineering solutions
- Produce, review or approve project technical specifications.
- Manage detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards, and CDM regulations.
- Prepare modification proposals as required and act as a Nominated Responsible Engineer (NRE) for plant modifications.
As the Civil Project Engineer you will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skillset:
- HNC, Civil Engineering Degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level5/6 (Essential).
- Conventional project engineering experience (Essential)
- Understanding of relevant national engineering standards
- Experience of managing aging infrastructure and civil assets
Contract Length: anticipated 24 months – 4 day week
