Our client is within central government, and they are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer Manager.
As the Electrical Engineer Manager you will lead on policy, governance and assurance for electrical engineering systems for non-biocontainment systems,
The Electrical Engineering Manager ensures that highest standards are implemented and maintained as part of continuous improvement and integrates with both the Technical Services team and contracted service partners.
The Electrical Engineering Manager is critical to ensuring that the electrical systems are maintained, to allow the site to operate and the high risk science activities to continue.
As the Electrical Engineer Manager you will have at least five years’ experience working in a similar role and significant experience in electrical engineering management in a Research Science or similar environment, with demonstrable experience of managing multi-disciplined teams.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer Manager with broad experience of leading on policy, governance and assurance
As the Electrical Engineer Manager you will have worked in a similar role and will have the following skillset:
- Significant experience in electrical engineering management in a Research Science or similar environment,
- Demonstrable experience of managing multi-disciplined teams.
- Experience of leading on policy, governance and assurance;
- Leadership and team management skills;
- Strong stakeholder management/communications.
Security Clearance: SC highly desirable; candidates with active SC clearance will be fast-tracked.
