Temporary Senior Procurement Information Management Officer / Admin x3

Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months
Hybrid role, 1 day office based (Fully WFH may be considered after induction in Preston)
To provide general and specific technical support in a relevant professional area or oversee and co-ordinate the provision of a support function or undertake a specialised activity. This may include day-to-day supervision and direction of a group or team. Training on Fusion will be given, together with Learning and Development training videos. Experience of purchasing, ideally in a construction/property area desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support to suppliers on the phoneline.
- Set up suppliers on Fusion.
- Deal with requests for amendments to bank details.
- Essential to be able to follow validation processes.

- Experience of purchasing, ideally in a construction/property area.
- Knowledge of how framework agreements work.
- Experience of working with relevant specialised systems, equipment and/or IT or be able to demonstrate the ability to carry out the role.
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Ability to work within a busy team with high volume activity on a daily basis.
- Ability to deal with service areas in a constructive manner.
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
- Ability to work as member of a team.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Able to use practical and procedural knowledge and analytical and judgmental skills to interpret information or situations and solve varied problems.
- Able to make decisions as to when and how duties are carried out and respond independently.
