Pay Rate: Up to £214.77 per day pay range subject to IR35 status
An Interim Legal Officer is required on a contract basis for up to 12 months.
This is a challenging role with unique and significant opportunities to develop your skills in international law, performance management, project management and stakeholder engagement.
You will gain experience of operating with senior partners and develop expertise in judicial cooperation seeking solutions to the delivery of judicial cooperation.
Security Clearance is required for this role.
Key Accountabilities:
- Managing a caseload of sensitive MLA cases
- Working closely with a range of stakeholders to execute a caseload of MLA requests
- Participate in the continuous improvement programme
Key Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with less than 3 years PQE
- Chartered member of Cilex or Legal Services Act 1990 or equivalent.
- Ability to analyse complex requests using sound judgement, evidence, and knowledge to arrive at accurate, expert and professional decisions and advice
- Strong communication skills to present the outcome of analysis clearly and effectively, orally and in writing.
- Robust, self-motivated and a good team player
- Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines
- SC (Security Clearance)
