Role: Graphic Designer
Contract Length: Anticipated 12 months
Location: Hybrid, Reading, visit to office in Reading a few times a month but not every week is required

Our client is looking to hire a Graphic Designer for approximately 12 months.
Key accountabilities:
- Take design briefs and determine requirements
- Curate and create corporate designs
- Advise on the appropriate delivery channels
- Apply the most appropriate design principles.
- Location work, on and off-site to assist in delivery of exhibition and event projects.
- Production of large format graphics panels, mounting and laminating.
- Design and develop creative content for digital channels, including but not limited to, website, social media, mobile apps, vector graphics for animation.
- Test graphic designs across various media, both on- and off-line.
- Work with the Imaging team to identify the most appropriate images to use in the design and for the channel selected.
- Retouch images to ensure they meet print and digital standards, such as colour, typography and image libraries.
- Work closely with the business and the team as a whole to follow designs and artwork from their conception to final sign-off.
- Liaise with external printers and acting as a point of contact for the artwork department of the studio or agency.
- Define budget requirements, identify any constraints and deliver projects to time, quality and cost through effective project management.
- Plan exhibition/event projects with regard to safety and manual handling aspects.
Essential:
- Ability to hit the ground running
- Industry experience in graphic design field- (e.g. advertising agency or in house team)
- 3-4 years of experience ideally
- Professional design education- BA graphic design or similar essential
- Knowledge of current CAD software – use ADOBE creative suite, adobe illustrator and adobe photoshop, adobe in design
- Adobe premiere and adobe after effects (video projects) (desirable)
