Interim Training Support/Project Officer -Hybrid Working – PSR 1JP00062847
Pay Rate: Up to £300 per day pay range subject to IR35 status
Location: Bristol – 1 day per month in office minimum.
JOB INFO:
A Training Support/Project Officer wo has previous experience of working in a training capacity.
You will have previous experience of working in a training support environment and familiar with providing training administration.
PMO or project support would be considered
Experience of supporting and/or delivering training within a large public organisation - ideally central government, or within an IT enabled organisational change environment
Existing security clearance is not a prerequisite but will always help.
What you’ll do:
- Support production and delivery of a new package of training for the implementation of the Full Operating Capability – the second phase of the project.
- Support production and delivery of training to support the implementation of a new team wide Soft FM solution
- Support the refresh of the existing training package, building on lessons learned from training delivery to date and changes to the live solution
- Support delivery of supplementary training (e.g. Infrastructure Management System (IMS)) as required.
- Assist with the design and development of the training solution
- As part of the team, create high impact, innovative training designs based on detailed analysis of business needs and support delivery of tailored training across the business at a variety of levels, including management.
- Produce and/or update course materials as necessary: eLearning, User Guides, Quick Reference Guides, and training exercises.
- Share best practice and resources in training, learning and assessment.
- Promote a professional image to customers (internal and external) at all times.
- Support delivery of effective and responsive training sessions in line with business needs to a range of audiences whether virtually, or face-to-face.
- Help managers identify and address specific learning needs, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
- Monitor and review training results to ensure knowledge is effectively embedded and utilised appropriately in accordance with learning objectives.
- Analyse feedback and engage in continuous improvement of training processes.
- During training sessions, support identifying any variances in participant skill level and help modify training accordingly.
Who you are:
- To be familiar with providing training administration.
- A committed, professional individual able to support delivery of organisational change.
- Adept user of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
Desirable skills and knowledge
- Experience of using industry standard training products (Articulate 360, Moodle, Camtasia etc.).
- Experience of analysing and/or manipulating data within IT products such as Microsoft Excel or PowerApps.
- Experience of using defence IT systems.
- Experience of training within an Asset Management environment, ideally utilising IBM Maximo.
- Experience of supporting and/or delivering training within a large public organisation - ideally government, or within an IT enabled organisational change environment
