What's involved with this role:

Interim Resource Manager - Recruitment /HR - Hybrid Working – PSR 1JP00062177
Pay Rate: Up to £ per day pay range subject to IR35 status

Location: Bristol 1-2 days and WFH

Manage the movement of personnel in the team Functions and tracking managed moves. Including follow up activities with the Individuals.

Security Clearance: Sole UK Nationals only. BPSS acceptable to start in post, and SC will then be applied for.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Management of Deployments around the agency, including maintaining the data to a good standard (this activity can impact individuals pay and is seen as a risk)
  • Engage with the Business Management Hubs
  • Develop the Organisational Structure
  • Manage business Priorities in terms of filling PM and PC positions
  • Conduct end to end recruitment including managing the recruitment signal into DES; taking front door actions from the PC and PM Function Leads
  • Communications with the community to identify volunteers to sift and interview
  • Representing the team and allocating appropriately (this should include improving Function awareness of what each vacancy entails so we are better able to argue for candidates)
  • Following up with DES/DBS where there has been no contact for 8 weeks (time scale to be agreed) to ensure someone is keeping in contact with candidates during the onboarding
  • Regional recruitment – managing the forecast and co-ordination of campaigns
  • Tracking secondees and loans to ensure conversations are being held with individuals and individuals are prepared for their return
  • Tracking benched individuals e.g. maternity (as per above)
  • racking leavers to ensure appropriate action is taken e.g. reassigning FDOs
  • Managing multiuser account to ensure all emails are actioned within 3 working days
  • Manage appropriate SharePoint areas and activities
  • Function interface with the team and linking up the relevant team to enable onboarding
  • Track TOFs including staffing extension and processing through the Finance team to ensure compliance with CO controls
  • Advertising and managing EOIs
  • Managing the Graduate and apprenticeship applications, placements and allocations


Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working within a complex business environment
  • Business Management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
