Pay Rate: Up to £197 per day pay range subject to IR35 status

Location: Some remote working but ideally you will be able to visit the office in Bootle/Liverpool for one day a week.

In this role you will support the organisation's IT department.

Key Essential

  • Analytical, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • Experience and knowledge of 365 Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to build strong working relationships


Core duties:

  • Your role will be to establish and maintain a close working relationship between Information, Technology and Facilities Division (ITF) and the wider Divisions and be the conduit for requirements and reporting.
  • Identify divisional needs and requirements for IT Services.
  • Proactively create and maintain strong network of connections with colleagues across the team and service managers in the wider Service.
  • Be the conduit for IT Services regarding divisional requests for change and requirements for new services.
  • Recommend technology opportunities and innovations to divisions and directorates to support business improvements.
  • Interpret data analysing trends for user insight and performance data to drive service design and iterative operational improvements for digital and assisted digital service channels.
  • Contribute to the Business Relationship team work plan.
  • Ensure the effective development and maintenance of a strong working relationship between all parts of the team with IT Services.
  • You will be required to have experience of working across boundaries and the interpersonal skills to quickly establish credibility and authority.
  • You will be involved in the coordination, integration and continuous service improvement, ensuring our Service Management function is business driven, customer focused and value for money.
  • This position provides an opportunity to develop a mix of strategic communication, leadership and planning skills.
